The above video is a recording for the initial iX-OKC Working Group Meeting on January 28th of 2021.
WHERE OKLAHOMA CONNECTS
Improve your network performance and save money by peering with top internet and content providers on the iX-OKC platform.
Why iX-OKC
Reduce your operating costs and enhance your network performance by exchanging traffic on our carrier-neutral internet exchange platform, iX-OKC. The peering platform is owned and operated by RACK59 Data Center, where we connect Oklahoma’s largest concentration of ISP networks.
01 / TRANSIT SAVINGS
Peering helps you save OPEX by providing a local path between parties while reducing the load on international IP Transit links.
02 / NETWORK PERFORMANCE
Improve performance reliability and reduce latency for the Oklahoma market by peering in our neutral internet exchange platform.
03 / Network Aggregation
Our IXP network can easily aggregate a large number of relatively small peering sessions across a single fixed-cost peering port, with zero incremental cost for each peer.

Benefits of IX-OKC are managed through a mutual peering agreement conformed to by all parties. IXP members normally specify the routes through their peering relationships. They may choose to route the traffic through their own addresses or addresses of other providers in the network. In some scenarios, the IXP serves as a backup link to allow traffic to pass through in case of a direct link failure.
